My Favorite Lip Balms

I have a confession to make: I am a lip balm addict. If I am somewhere without lip balm, I will either need to go home and get mine, buy more or at the last resort, borrow some. That's how desperate I get sometimes! Sad, but true. I've heard that your lips actually start to rely on lip balm for moisture & stop making it naturally... I don't know if I believe that but I definitely suffer when I don't have any. Here are a few of my favorites that just happen to be from the drugstore!

Maybelline Baby Lips Rose Rush

This lip balm is a great all in one product. It gives you moisture but also some color when your lips get that blah, dead look to them (don't deny it!). So, unlike a lipgloss, this glides on smoothly without any stickiness. I have several other Baby Lips but for the moment this is my favorite, although I always seem to go back to the sheer red, Cherry Me.

Nivea A Kiss of Olive Oil & Lemon

I bought this lip balm based on a review by a youtuber (I can't remember who, perhaps Essiebutton?), and I've never looked back. This lip balm is nothing like you would imagine. Think of what olive oil and lemon would smell like and throw that out the window. It has a sort of earthy-clean smell and feels wonderful on the lips! I have one of these in my bathroom, car and desk... I just can't be without it. Give this a try and I promise you will be pleasantly surprised.

Chapstick Cake Batter & Classic Cherry

A lip balm flavored like cake batter, can it get any better? Chapstick is always a reliable brand that I come back to time and time again. It really is my favorite when my lips are crazy chapped and I want something a little thicker. The cake batter flavor is perhaps limited edition, I found it when I was cleaning out one of my purses. So, I'm sorry if I tempted you with it and it's no longer available. Oops! Classic Cherry on the other hand is definitely available, pretty much anywhere things are sold. If you need a good, basic lip balm this is the one I would recommend!
