Milani Brow Fix Review & Brow Routine

Milani Brow Fix | NYX Wonder Pencil

I've gotten a few new brow products from CVS recently, so I thought I would share. The main one being, the Milani Brow Fix Brow Kit. I also picked up a NYX Wonder Pencil and Pop-Arazzi spoolie brush.

Milani Brow Fix Brow Kit in 01 Light - This little kit has it all! It comes with 2 brow shades, a highligher, mini tweezers, mini brow brush, mini sponge-tip applicator and a magnifying mirror. Almost everything you would need to define your eyebrows and all for under $10! I started out by plucking all of the excess hairs around my brows, I haven't done them in a while so there were a lot. The tweezers worked pretty well after I got used to how small they were. Then it was time to fill in the brows! I really liked the lighter of the two brow colors, not too warm or too dark. The darker color is good for defining areas of your brows that you want to stand out a bit more. I haven't used powder to fill in my brows in quite some time but the little brush made it pretty easy, it was firm but not hard. The magnifying mirror is actually really helpful, especially because I can't wear my glasses when I do my makeup and am pretty blind. Next, I used the sponge-tip applicator to apply a small amount of highligher right on my brow bone. This really helps to lift and define your brow! So far, I am loving this little kit. It would be perfect for travel or for throwing in your purse on the go!

NYX Wonder Pencil in WP01 Light - This pencil can do it all, no wonder it's called 'Wonder Pencil'! It's basically a nude creme in stick form that can be used anywhere on the face. Here I used it to define the top of my brow but it's uses are endless! Line your waterline, pop it in the inner corner, highlight your cupid's bow, it does it all and for under $5! This pencil is a great all-purpose product and definitely a must have for anyone looking to brighten up their face.

Pop-Arazzi Spoolie Brush - I've never heard of this brand but I found it at CVS and for $1.99 it seems to work pretty well. As a last step in my brow routine, I like to take a spoolie brush and just comb through my brows to make sure the powder is evenly distributed and that my brows are in place. This step helps to make sure the brows don't look too 'done.'

Now for the big reveal: before and after pictures! Please don't judge my crazy before brows or dry skin. Close-ups certainly aren't forgiving. But I know everyone wants to see the difference, so here you go!

I'd say the difference is significant! Do my brows look perfect? Of course not! But they certainly look much better and I am happy with the result. I think the color is pretty natural looking, which I've stated before is hard for me to find.

Have you tried any of these products? What do you think? Do you have any brow product suggestions? I'm always on the hunt for something new! Let me know down below in the comments!
